Facilities

Located just 12 miles away from downtown Davenport, Camp Abe Lincoln is miles away from the normal. With 13 cabins that sleep 16 people each, Camp Abe Lincoln has the ability to fit any need. Our main building, the Lincoln Lodge, has a picturesque dining hall which seats 300 with a beautiful stone fireplace and a large window overlooking Camp to the west.

Many of our cabins have recent updates, some with central air-conditioning and all of them are year-round cabins. With newly made bunk beds, Abe Lincoln is the perfect getaway whether you are an eight year-old camper or a forty year-old executive.

Our newly remodeled pool with zero depth entry, lap swimming and large slide makes it the perfect escape from the summer heat. Day campers and resident campers can expect to swim numerous times during their stay at camp and retreat groups can schedule swim time as much as they would like. Our certified lifeguards and staff will ensure you have an exciting and safe time in our pool.

The Alpine Tower is an experience like none other in the Quad City area. A fifty-foot high climbing structure designed to encourage teamwork and personal achievement is something you will never forget. It’s like climbing the biggest tree you can imagine. Obstacles like free hanging climbing poles, the teeter-totter, cargo net and giant’s ladder will ensure a new adventure for every climb. With the help of our trained staff, we will help you reach your goals no matter how large. The Alpine Tower is great for our older campers and also for teambuilding and corporate retreats.

Our lake is big enough where kids canwork on their paddling and different boating skills but small enough where we can keep them within a safe distance. Our patroling lifeguard will make sure that your child is safe while out on the lake. All of our kids and staff are required to wear lifejackets while on the lake. We will never sacrifice safety for fun.

During the warm season camp has around 20 horses available for lots of different activites. For the younger visitors we program arena rides. Campers will be able to ride a horse around the inside of our horse arena under the guided supervision of our Wrangler staff. For our older campers and visitors we have trail rides. Experience what it felt like to ride horses through the trails just like the old west. Come experience the lost activity of horseback riding. We feel it is a great character development activity as kids learn to respect other animals in this world.
