Day Camp

School will be out soon, it's time to figure out what your kids will be doing this summer. If you are looking for something that will build character and be an experience your children will not stop talking about, Day Camp is for you. YMCA Camp Abe Lincoln Day Camp is the perfect getaway for kids ages 4-10. Camp Abe Lincoln staff will treat your children like family as they experience activities they would not be able to experience anywhere else.

Transportation to and from camp is available for parents who are not able to make the drive. Buses will pick up and drop off campers at all the Scott County Family Y branches and the Two Rivers and Muscatine YMCA locations.

All day campers can expect to experience horseback riding, archery, canoes, swimming and many other activities. At the same time, they will get a chance to be a kid. Your child will come home exhausted and dirty.

For our youngest campers, we have Kinder Camp. This is a program designed specifically for the 4-6 year old campers. If you are unsure if your child will be able to handle a whole week of Day Camp, try out Kinder Camp. It runs from Monday through Wednesday one session. We will be creating activities just for our youngsters. 4-6 year olds are welcome to attend all sessions of Day Camp but Kinder Camp will be a good starting point for some of our young campers.

Unlike the thousands of other programs titled "Camp", Camp Abe Lincoln is the type of camp that you as a parent went to growing up and your parents went to growing up. Since 1924 YMCA Camp Abe Lincoln has been providing experiences for campers that change their lives for the better. Let your child to have an experience.
