Nick will be starting his 10th year at YMCA Camp Abe Lincoln starting this May. Nick has been full-time at Camp Abe Lincoln since the fall of 2008. Nick started as a counselor at Camp Abe Lincoln, and worked his way up to his current position.  Prior to Executive Director, he was the Resident Camp Coordinator and the Program Director. The first summer he began at Camp, he knew he found his lifelong dream and would continue his career in the Camping world. He has worked diligently to create new programs at Camp Abe Lincoln and continues to build upon the 90 years of Abe Lincoln's success.

Nick graduated from the University of Dubuque with a degree in Recreational Management. He has furthered his Camping knowledge by volunteering for American Camp Association (ACA) as an accreditation visitor. He has also served as a Chair and a member for the Mid-American Camping Conference planning committee.

Alexandra Clark - "Prancer"

Alexandra began her career at Camp Abe Lincoln as a counselor in 2008.  In 2009, she took over the marketing position. In 2010, she began working as our Retreats Coordinator and Business Manager.  Since 2012, she has been the Associate Director here, and for the Scott County Family Y Fund Development.  She received her Bachelor's Degree of Arts in Economics from Knox College in 2009.  
Alexandra is originally from Bloomington, Illinois.  She decided to work at camp because she loves to see people come together in their time at camp.  "I like the opportunity camp offers both kids and adults to grow personally and I love to be a part of that."

Calvin Zehring

Calvin became the Camp Abe Lincoln Maintenance Director in October 2015!  Calvin has been learning to build, rebuild, and come up with creative solutions since he was boy.  From his fathers training to many other specialized trainings -  he has experience in carpentry, roofing, plumbing, electrical, painting, flooring, landscaping, and more!  He most recently resided and worked in Pennslyvania at the RVR YMCA as the Maintenenance Director. 

Calvin is truly a jack of all trades, and we couldn't be more excited to have him join our team.  With our 250 acres and many facilities, we are certain he will never be bored here! Welcome to the Camp family, Calvin!
